July 26:  Joy’s Swim.  Cheer on Joy Jarvis as she takes on an incredible 9-kilometre swim in support of Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

Joy’s swim will support Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Raise Muskoka Campaign to build the new Huntsville Hospital! AND 88.7 The Bay will match every donation up to $5,000!

Every year, compassionate residents and cottages alike create their own fundraising events and deliver the proceeds to Huntsville Hospital.

Want to rally friends, family and coworkers to support your passion? We’ve made it simple for you to host your own event to benefit Huntsville Hospital. An event is a great way to raise funds to support great healthcare. The event possibilities are endless. We can provide the following assistance:

• Offer event planning advice/expertise
• Discuss ideas and best practices
• Provide resources including templates and documents to assist you in planning and organizing a successful event
• Issue tax receipts, if applicable (please ask your HHF about receipting before discussing with your attendees.  HHF adheres to all Canadian Revenue Agency guidelines.)
• List your event on the Foundation website and share on our Facebook and Instagram platforms
• Provide approval for the use of HHF name and/or logos
• HHF can provide promotional material for your event if available and quantities to be discussed on a per-event basis
• Provide a Letter of Support to validate the authenticity for your fundraising event
• Offer representative(s) from HHF to attend your event applicable and subject to availability
• Help you create your own personal or group JustGiving fundraising page

This type of charity donation is limited only by your imagination!  With in-celebration charity donations guests can make a charity donation in lieu of gifts, or the gift-giver can replace a traditional gift, such as such as wedding favour, birthday or Christmas presents, with a charity donation.
