Donations made through Employee Giving help to bridge the gap between what is provided by government funding and what is required to deliver much-needed specialized care, programs, services, equipment, and education.

The Physician Giving Program is a celebration dedicated to bringing physicians together for a common goal. To join with our community in support of our hospital. Your support allows us to invest in the people, programs, facilities, equipment and technology you need to provide your patients with the best healthcare experience possible. Just one more way you can care for your community and each other. Physician Giving sends a powerful message to our community that you support excellence in medicine, our hospital and each other. - At Huntsville Hospital over 90% of all medical equipment and technology is funded through community support of our foundation.
- Annually our community raises $1.6 million for our hospital. But annually our priority capital list grows.
- Advances in medical technologies and equipment are happening more frequently and that reduces the breathing space we have between donations.
Physician Giving Society
The Physician Giving Society is dedicated to raising awareness and growing a community of physician leaders who support and encourage philanthropy in our organization. When you support The Huntsville Hospital Foundation you motivate and empower others in our community, you strengthen the financial core of our institution, and you encourage your peers to view philanthropy as an act worthy of their consideration.
To become a member you must commit to ongoing support of the Foundation through monthly, quarterly or annual giving.
Member benefits include: Donor Impact reports, special member listing displayed in hospital, framed recognition for your office, annual appreciation event, opportunity to be featured on social media or website, branded swag.

Payroll Deductions
Companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions by offering workplace giving programs such as payroll deduction, through which contributions are deducted directly from the employee’s pay cheque.
Employer Donation Matching
A matching gift is a donation made by an employer that matches the amount of an employee’s gift. Depending on the matching strategy a company has in place, it may match an employee’s gift dollar-for-dollar or in multiples, resulting in a much larger, more impactful gift. Corporate matching demonstrates to your employees that you support their charitable giving and involvement in striving for excellence in health.
