Yes – a two-site hospital recommendation has been forwarded to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. This is exactly what the community wanted. Visit mahc.ca for details.
Where can I park when I come to the Foundation?
The Foundation ‘Bunkie’ is located right beside the hospital – you can’t miss it. Use the hospital parking lot and we’ll give you a free parking pass when you leave.
How can I make a donation to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital?
Donations to support Huntsville District Memorial Hospital can be made through the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. The Foundation accepts Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Visa and MasterCard. Please make cheques payable to HDMH Foundation. Donations can be made in‐person at the Foundation Office, by phone at 705.789.4756, by fax at 705.789.0073 by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the mail. Donations can also be made online through our website and will generate an immediate tax receipt.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes. The Huntsville Hospital Foundation is a registered charity that provides tax receipts for eligible donations greater than $10. Tax receipts will be sent in the mail. Will my information be disclosed if I make donation?
No. All donor information is kept strictly confidential and will not shared. Your name will only appear as recognition of a donation not including your gift amount. An anonymous gift means your name will not appear on any of our recognition platforms.
Can I designate my donation to a specific department in the hospital?
Yes, donations can be directed to specific areas of the hospital. While the Hospital has identified priority equipment needs, you may still direct your contribution to a specific department or piece of equipment such as Chemotherapy, CT Scanner, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Department, Electronic Health Records, Surgical Services and the Capital Equipment List. Simply make a note on your donation card, or let the staff know when making your donation.
